Things To Do

Leisure : There are castles (notably Edinburgh and Stirling) and lochs, museums and battle sites - Stirling Bridge (William Wallace) and Bannockburn (King Robert the Bruce), which all Scots love to talk about, and Culloden, which we prefer to forget, where visitor centres give a good resume of the history

Closer to home; North Queensferry is a charming place to stroll about. There's the ruin of St. James' Chapel, recently designated as an Ancient Monument, (next door to our house). The old Town Pier, where the Ferry Boats used to sail from, and St. James' Harbour. A leaflet describing a village walk is provided in your room. We also have Deep Sea World, Scotland's largest aquarium, just 2 minutes walk from the house

Coming in May 2002 : A Superfast Ferry link from Rosyth to Zeebrugge!!
Forth Rail Bridge
There are the wonderful Edinburgh Festivals and Military Tattoo in August; theatres and art galleries, factory shops selling woollens, tweeds and crystal, not to mention whisky distilleries.
Forth Road Bridge
Walkers & cyclists are catered for with the spectacular Fife Coastal Path & Cycle Way immediately on our doorstep. Other outdoor activities are well provided for; especially golf, fishing (sea, river, & loch), football, rugby & amateur athletics.
Business : We are also within very easy reach of business centres/parks in Fife and the Lothians, eg. Rosyth Business Europarc Carneigie Business Park, Motorola, BSkyB and Mossmorran, in or by Dunfermline and Hewlett Packard, South Queensferry.
